With these cooler temps, I am MORE than happy to see you :)
Let's talk weekend, shall we?
Friday after work, I darted over to Fort Smith for some play time with a few of my favorite kiddos. When I got home, I watched an episode or two of Scandal {newest obsession} and was in bed around 11:30, which is super duper late for this girl!
I'm not particularly good at sleeping in, and I my internal alarm went off at 7:00 Saturday morning. I decided to just lay back down and spend some time praying and, next thing I knew, I woke up and the clock said 10:15...
WHHHHATTTT?! Y'all, I haven't slept that late since Lord knows when. I'd been taking some night time over-the-counter pain reliever to help with brace face, and I guess the PM part finally caught up with me!
I felt SO refreshed.
I hung around the house that morning working on a few little craft projects. Sweet Henley was glued to my side :)
One of my dearest and best friends tied the knot with her prince charming on Saturday afternoon! So thrilled for her. The wedding and the bride were gorgeous, and it was such a fun opportunity to catch up with some college friends {that saying, alone, makes me feel super old}.
After the wedding, my sweet date and I went to have dessert at my favorite spot in Fort Smith - Movie Lounge. It's a fun, eat-in movie theater that shows neat, old movies. Aside from the theater, they also have a restaurant and bar area where you can usually find live music on Saturday nights. Not to mention, the food is fabulous! We had the BEST dessert - a chocolate waffle with caramelized bananas and peanut butter ice cream. Um, YUM! I should've taken a picture.
I slept like a baby Saturday night, and the got up on Sunday morning to make breakfast and attend a celebration of the Feast of Tabernacles put on by a local church. It was my first time and it was phenomenal! After church & a yummy lunch of Mexican food {one of my faves}, I headed home to change clothes and meet my family for a quick afternoon trip to Russellville to celebrate my sister's formal pinning for her sorority. We had fun family time, ate {duh - it's what we do}, and got to spend some time with my sweet sister before heading home.
The weather all weekend was gorgeous, and it really put me in the fall mood. So, Sunday night, I made this super delicious apple cinnamon pull-apart bread. I adapted my recipe from this one {minus the icing} and it's safe to say that I'm obsessed. Biscuits, cinnamon, sugar, apples, and butter? Sign. Me. UP. I had a
And because I really love my readers, I wanted to let you in on a fabulous little find I made last week. Y'all... It's love. I was perusing through Insta {because, you know, it's what I do} and I saw someone post a coupon code for this app called Groovebook. Naturally, I checked it out.
And, Y'ALL......
This is without a doubt the most awesome app ever known to mankind.
You install the app and sign up for a Groovebook subscription for $2.99/month. What does that $2.99 get you?! I'm glad you asked.
For $2.99/month, Groovebook let's you pick 40-100 photos a month from your iPhone camera roll, upload them directly to the app, and they mail you a photo book with those photos you picked, all printed and bound into this cute little book. And the BEST part is that the photos are perforated, so you can just tear them out and frame them, stick them on your fridge, or do whatever else you do with a photo.
Did you just hear me?! 100 PHOTOS PRINTED IN A BOOK FOR $2.99 A MONTH.
If you don't rush to your app store right this second and sign up for a Groovebook subscription, I'm just not sure we can be friends anymore.
Are you understanding that you would NEVER have to print your photos at Walmart/Walgreen's EVER AGAIN?!?!?! Do you GET how awesome that is?!
TWO DOLLA AND NINETY NINE CENTS A MONTH. That's one less 1/2 of a Pumpkin Spice Latte for you. A month.
Seriously. If you're my friend, you'll hop on the Groovebook train, like, yesterday.
Okay, I feel SO much better after having shared the good news with you. Whew!
Do you have exciting plans this week?! I do believe I've got a cold coming on so, after CrossFit tonight, I'm headed to my mama's house for some RHONJ, tomato basil soup, and pesto grilled cheese {I'll eat
Happy Fall!
I just fist pumped! Heart your face, your brace face, girl.
